Roslindale man charged with dealing drugs in S
A Roslindale man is facing charges of trafficking drugs in South Boston Old Colony housing development after police found 31 plastic bags containing heroin and more than $67,000 in cash in his car and residence, Boston police said.

When police arrived, they saw Rosario leave his residence, enter a vehicle, and begin driving. Rosario, whose license was suspended, was then pulled over by police.

Officers searching the residence found another 30 plastic bags of heroin, $66,794 in cash, six cellphones, surgical masks, a digital scale, two ledgers, a cutting agent, a spoon and sifter, and a box of plastic bags, police said in a statement.
In addition to the drug trafficking charge, Rosario faces charges of operating a vehicle after license suspension and furnishing a false name to police. The next hearing in the case was slated for Oct. 7, prosecutors said.
Also Wednesday, police said, a 24 year old Dorchester man was arrested for possession with intent to distribute Class A drugs and operating a vehicle after license suspension. Police said he was hiding plastic bags of heroin in his underwear when they arrested him and a search at 143 Tonawanda St. yielded another bag of heroin.
